The courses I run nowadays are all taken in my working studio, which is 30 mins from Glasgow city centre in Dumbarton. I have a relaxed style of tuition and, while we’re always working towards ensuring that you’ve created something in the allotted time, I like to ensure that everyone has fun. My courses contain a maximum of 8 people, which allows me to spend as much time as is required with everyone in the group.
I generally run 1-day & 2-day courses over the weekend, and hold shorter glass workshops during the week. The courses are suitable for anyone over the age of 12, and I have full public liability insurance.
A Little bit about me
I am a professional stained glass artist. Initially, I worked in traditional stained glass – commissioned to create new designs and also stained glass restoration work.
As I love everything about art & glass, I branched out into glass fusion. This is basically fusing glass together in a special kiln, which can create some really beautiful pieces of art.
Using this technique, I’ve been producing a wide range of pieces from bowls, wall-art, decorations to commissions for large splashbacks for kitchens. My work is sold in galleries around Scotland.
